WE SUPPORT THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION IN RURAL MADAGASCAR

Learning does not equate schooling.

In Madagascar, as in many developing countries, practically 100% of children of primary-school age are enrolled in primary education. However, the lack of trained teachers, books, didactic materials and poor school infrastructure implies that a very large number of children end primary school without having reached basic literacy and numeracy.

Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) calls for ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. According to SDG 4, our goal is to increase the quality of education in rural Madagascar, through books, school libraries, high school and university scholarships, teachers' training and salaries, environmental education, health and nutrition care and more.
